Outside research, I enjoy movies, music, hiking in Malibu, working out, and chatting with family and friends.
My favorite novelist is Leo Tolstoy. I have a soft spot for classical music: Chopin and Liszt are my favorites, though I also listen to Mahler and Schubert. I also love classic rock and Chinese songs from the ’80s and ’90s. Don’t you think Faye Wong is such a talent?
I’m an avid movie fan! You’ll often find me enjoying classics like Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, and Kieślowski’s Dekalog. But I won’t say no to a lighthearted animated movie or a scary (but not gory) film, as long as I have company.
One of my dreams is to travel the world with family and friends. I’m still working toward it.
