Bowen Yi

朋友们好，我是易博文！I’m a first year CS PhD at the University of Southern California, advised by Shrikanth Narayanan. I completed my undergraduate degree in CS at the University of Michigan. My research interests lie in Human-Centered NLP, Behavioral Data Science, and Multimodal AI. I aim to develop AI agents that interpret social and behavioral cues to offer personalized responses, with applications in healthcare.

I was proudly part of LIT research group with the one and the only Rada Mihalcea. I also had the fortune to work with David Jurgens at Blablablab.

Before my journey at Michigan, I grew up in Yueyang, Hunan. I am a rare Hunanese who can’t sustain hot spice.
